So much so, that if I had to pick a favorite film, for reasons sentimental and otherwise, this would be it. It opened doors to so many things to me--to Verne, to dinosaurs, to film music and to a sense of wonder about secret places and hidden worlds--and even to the spirit of brave (if sometimes foolhardy) adventure. Man, I just flat-out love this movie.
