I'm glad you praised Jim Fyfe's interpretation of Willie Loomis; I remember the character became my favorite in the series.Gary R.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212867859094085036.post-36865619770807718672017-02-18T11:58:02.599-05:002017-02-18T11:58:02.599-05:00It has been available on DVD as DARK SHAODWS -- TH...It has been available on DVD as DARK SHAODWS -- THE REVIVAL: THE COMPLETE SERIES for a few years now and you can find it on Amazon -- and ebay may have some copies for sale as well.

It is still streaming on Hulu. You could watch them all in a month for $7.99, which is cheaper than the DVD, but you'll have to put up with commercials!Williamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03053290865549099074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8212867859094085036.post-65280832067608593482017-02-18T05:49:58.484-05:002017-02-18T05:49:58.484-05:00Bill, is this available on DVD yet? B...Bill, is this available on DVD yet? I need it!!

Back when it first aired, the ratings were not very good and the Gulf War preempted several episodes, so the show was cancelled before the 12 episodes were even shown. I think they only aired 8 or 9...

Decades later, when Hulu was in its infancy, I found the entire 12 episodes and watched them all for free on my Mac computer. What a joy!!

Ben Cross was a magnificent Barnabas - even better than Jonathan - he had a sexy menacing air reminiscent of Christopher Lee. I liked Barbara Steele more than you did, fun to see her resurrected for this..and a young Joseph Gordon Levitt is wonderful as David Collins...he had the same star quality then as now!!

Oh I am dying to see this again, even if I had to pay for it, but have not been able to find it...
-Chrisangelman66https://www.blogger.com/profile/16471674180789592940noreply@blogger.com
